Rexall "Rex" Narron, the second child of Willard and Annie Bailey Narron, was born April 22, 1935, in Johnston County, North Carolina.
His father, Willard Narron, was 25 and his mother, Annie Bailey, was 22 when he was born. He joined older brother Bruce Narron. His younger siblings are Gladys Narron, Ella Narron, Wallace Narron, Evonne Narron and William Willis Narron.
The family lived in O'Neals Township in Johnston County in the 1940 Census.
Rex quit school in the 10th grade. He met Annie Joyce Liles when he was quite young. They got married about 1956.
Annie, the daughter of Edwin and Martha Lamm Liles, was born March 14, 1936.
They had one son, Johnnie Rex Narron, born Aug. 26, 1956, in Nash County, North Carolina.
Rex was able to work his way up to manager at the cotton gin in Rocky Mounnt where cotton ropes were made.
Rex married Opal Louise Ezzell on June 29, 1962, in Nashville, North Carolina. This marriage ended in divorce on Nov. 24. 1971.
Rex's son Johnnie Rex Narron died in a car crash in 1973 in Reno, Nevada.
After the divorce with Opal, Rex married Janice Faye Lamm. Faye, the daughter of Woodrow and Annie Proctor Lamm, was born Oct. 22, 1939, in Nash County.
Rexall died at 67 on May 2, 2002, in Rocky Mount. He is buried in Rocky Mount Memorial Park, Rocky Mount.
Faye died March 23, 2013, in Virginia, and is buried next to Rex in Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
