Blue Ridge (NC) Parkway Center film wins award

(of the Henry
Branch — daughter of
Jane, granddaughter of Gurnie, great-granddaughter of Oscar,
great-great-granddaughter of Henry), was a line producer for the award-winning
film, "The Blue Ridge Parkway: America's Favorite Journey." The film received the Platinum Best of Show Aurora Award.

The film depicts the history and scenic beauty of the parkway and heritage of the North Carolina mountains.
It's a a high-definition film produced for the new
Blue Ridge
Parkway Destination Center. O'Brien also produced the photographic exhibits
displayed on three high-definition screens in the center.
