Lonnie married Dorothy Gray Watson on Sept. 3, 1949. Lonnie was the co-owner of a dairy.

Entrepreneurship and Family Life
Lonnie Pearl Stancil Sr. was an entrepreneur, notably the co-owner of a dairy. His business acumen extended to the trucking industry as well. Along with Ray and Walter, he formed a trucking company specializing in refrigerated transport. Sealtest, a client he had previously worked for, became one of their most significant customers, highlighting Lonnie's long-standing professional relationships and capabilities.

His beloved wife, Dorothy "Dot" Gray Watson Stancil, passed away nearly 30 years later, on April 8, 2023, in Wilson, North Carolina, and is also buried in Maplewood Cemetery, joining her husband.
