She grew up alongside her siblings, Leon Narron Jr., Billy Steve Narron, Freddy Wayne Narron, and Rose Narron Lee. Peggy completed her secondary education in 1963, graduating from Corinth Holders High School.

Family and Personal Life

Peggy's life took a significant turn when she married Billy Ray Peacock, the son of Luther and Lela Mae Bell Peacock, on March 8, 1969, in North Carolina. Billy Ray was born on August 9, 1938, in Wilson, North Carolina. Together, Peggy and Billy Ray welcomed their daughter, Wendy Rae, in 1971. Their family grew to include two beloved grandchildren, Raegan Kollin Shepherd and Addison Grier Shepherd.

Billy Ray Peacock preceded Peggy in death, passing away on February 4, 2005. He was laid to rest in Kenly Cemetery in Kenly, North Carolina.

Peggy dedicated 33 years of her life to public service with the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles, where she held the distinguished position of Chief Hearing Officer before her retirement.
