George Robert Dennison and Patricia Anne D'Agostino shared a life marked by military service, family, and eventual tragedy.

George Robert Dennison was born on July 2, 1945, in Wilson, North Carolina, the oldest son of Bob and Dot Stancil Dennison. His brother, Warren, was born six years later in 1951.

Following in his father's footsteps, George joined the Marines and served a tour of duty in Vietnam.

Patricia Anne D'Agostino, known as Patti, was born on January 15, 1949, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Frank and Anna Dorazio D'Agostino.

George and Patti married on August 28, 1969, in Maryland, after George's return from Vietnam. They settled in Philadelphia, though George's relationship with his parents remained strained.

George and Patti had two sons: Chris Robert Dennison, born in 1970, and Eric Matthew Dennison, born in 1972. Patti was a dedicated, long-time employee at The Reporter Newspaper in Lansdale.

The couple's life took a mysterious turn when George disappeared from their shared home in Philadelphia. Prior to his disappearance, he had visited aunts and uncles in North Carolina, introducing a woman as Patti, who was not his wife. Their stay at Mamie's house in Farmville was short-lived, as their partying led to them being asked to leave.

Patricia Ann D'Agostino passed away at the age of 54 on September 27, 2003, in Hatfield Township, Pennsylvania, at Central Montgomery Medical Center, after a long battle with cancer. She is buried in St. John Neumann Cemetery in Warrington Township.

George Robert Dennison died on March 11, 2011, in Canadensis, Pennsylvania.
