On October 18, 2004, Nanette married Ronald "Ronnie" Hillard Faison, who was born in 1959. Their bond was a significant part of her life. Nanette also held a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Hank, a cherished companion.
Tragically, Nanette experienced the loss of her father, Samuel "Sammy" Roland Parrish Jr., who passed away just a few months before her on June 2, 2018, in Johnston County, North Carolina. He was laid to rest in Oakland Cemetery in Smithfield.
