William Willis Narron, Tempy Ann Branch, husband of 49 years to Elaine Crocker Narron; father of Sherry Lynn Narron; and brother of Ella Narron Everett, died at 75 on Feb. 2, 2026, in Middlesex, North Carolina. Willis was born June 29, 1950, in O'Neals Township, Johnston County, North Carolina. He is the son of the late Willard and Annie Bailey Narron; father of the late Melinda Ann Narron; and brother of the late Bruce Narron, Rexall “Rex” Narron, Gladys “Blondie” Narron Alford, Wallace Narron, and infant sister Evonne Narron. He is the grandfather of Garrett Bass and Tyler Bass. He is buried in New Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Kenly, North Carolina.

Keith Gray Creech, Henry Branch, father of Paulett Creech Davis and Sabrina Creech Wingo and grandfather of Carly Renee Carter, husband Sean; Lukeus Wingo, wife Casey; and William Wingo; and siblings of Kenneth Creech and Linda Gale Creech Moran, died at 89 on March 5, 2026, in Plant City, Florida. He was born May 21, 1936, in Micro, Johnston County, North Carolina. He is son of the late Leslie and Pauline Creech, brother of the late William Joseph Creech; widower of Mildred “Inez” Harlow; father of the late Melody Creech and grandfather of the late Christopher Alden Davis. He is great-grandfather of McKinley Carter, and Cayden Carter. He is buried in Hopewell Memorial Gardens in Plant City.

Charlie Myron Crabtree Jr., Henry Branch, husband of Cindi Crabtree for 46 years; grandfather of Kayla Pounds DeGruchy (Thomas) and Christopher Quinby; and brother of Jane Crabtree O'Brien and Guy Wayne Crabtree; died at 81 on April 17, 2026, in North Carolina. He was born Jan. 27, 1945, in Alamance County, North Carolina. He is the son of the late Jack and Gurnie Stancil Crabtree; father of the late John Shayne Crabtree and Windi Crabtree Quinby. He is the great-grandfather of twins Clara and Emma DeGruchy. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 9, 2026, at Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh.

Timothy "Tim" Neal Murphy, Arnettie Branch, husband of 50 years to Robin Garner Murphy; father of Christy Murphy Lutterloh, and husband Clay; Alan Murphy, and wife Kristy; Matthew Murphy, and wife Ashley; brother of Benny "Snook" Murphy; and Pam Foster, and husband Doug; died at 67 on April 26, 2026, at his home in Graham, North Carolina. Tim was born Aug. 17, 1958, in Burlington, North Carolina. He is the son of the late Benny Ivan Murphy and Rosa Imogene Hill Murphy. He is the grandfather of Carson Lutterloh, Payton Lutterloh, Oaklyn Lutterloh, Weston Murphy, Tatum Murphy, Gunner Murphy, Tucker Murphy, Austin Reed Murphy, Tripp Murphy and Ty Murphy. Tim grew up in Alamance County and graduated from Eastern Alamance High School in 1976. He married Robin Garner on March 28, 1976, in Burlington, and they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary together before his passing. Tim was a devoted owner and operator at Garner Murphy Construction for over 45 years, where he was a talented heavy equipment operator and beloved boss.

Brent was born on May 23, 1977, in Wilson County. He is the son of the late Sammy Jay Price. Brent was a loyal employee of BrightSpeed for 30 years as a service technician. He gave his time and leadership as a Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and AWANA leader at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church over the years. When he was 18, he joined the Antioch Volunteer Fire Department. He served as a captain, first responder, and President of the Board. He is buried in the Bethany Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Kenly, North Carolina.

She is daughter of the late Fred and Vera Baltzegar; widow of Kenneth Ray Hill; mother-in-law of the late Fran Hill; grandmother of the late Connor Hill; and sister of the late Brenda Buffaloe and Sandy Adkins. She is grandmother of Jaret Hill (Heaven), Austin Hill and Ryan Hill; and great-grandmother of Charlotte and Carter. She worked for Wilson County Schools for more than 40 years. She is buried in Evergreen Memorial Park in Wilson.
